Sound of Soay and Sound of Seil Revealed at Cammell Laird

Photographs  Peter Challis 2013

The small pleasure craft FOCHINTULLA can be seen passing the Cammell Laird construction hall on Saturday July 06, 2013. However, the real interest is in what can be seen in through the open doors of the construction hall. The two almost complete car ferries SOUND OF SOAY and SOUND OF SEIL nearing completion. The first complete new builds at Cammell Laird since the launch of the submarine HMS UNICORN (now HMCS WINDSOR) in 1992.
