Balmoral on the Blocks at Sharpness

Photographs  David Bassett 2014

BALMORAL arrived at Sharpness Dry Dock on May 14, 2014

David Bassett writes:

A final thank you today to  all our volunteers and supporters throughout the UK.  The positive publicity from you all, BBC , HTV, Radio Bristol and Radio Gloucester  has been outstanding. Please keep the positive vibes rolling. We are most grateful to Bristol City Council and the Bristol Port Company who have both bent over backwards to be helpful and to support us. Our professional crew and Seaspan on board these past two days to get us here have been brilliant.

Next prosaic stage is the power wash and initial inspection
