STENA LYNX III seen berthed near the East Link Bridge on Saturday October 04, 2008. Her 2008 season on the Rosslare to Fishguard route had concluded on September 28 and she had proceeded to Dublin for winter lay-up on Thursday October 02. In previous years she has usually wintered at West Float, Birkenhead. Her presence in Dublin has led to speculation that she might make an appearance on the Dún Laoghaire - Holyhead route during the shoulder periods of the 2009 season replacing the the fuel hungry HSS STENA EXPLORER.
