Fisheries Research Vessel CORYSTES [1,280grt / 1988]seen heading north west across the Irish Sea from the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company's MANANNAN which was approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes out of Douglas. CORYSTES is operated by Serco Marine Services on behalf of Agri-Food Biosciences AFBI. The name CORYSTES comes from that of Corystes cassivelaunus, the hooded crab.
