Mersey Endurance Alongside The Steam Packet Stage

The impressive new build bunkering barge MERSEY ENDURANCE has now entered service and is seen here alongside the Isle of Man Steam Packet Stage at Liverpool on March 28, 2013. She arrived on the Mersey under tow from the Netherlands on February 21, 2013. Built by Veka Shipbuilding BV in the Czech Republic and the Netherlands she measures 86m x 11.45m. MERSEY ENDURANCE is powered by a Caterpillar C32A engine. The vessel was built following investment by World Oil who have been proprietors of Henty Oil since it acquired the 25 year old business in 2009.
