The classic little vessels managed by Wharfcross Ltd t/a Viaduct Shipping are a familiar sight on the River Mersey but are often overlooked because of their diminutive size. They are often to be seen shuttling from one side of the river to the other, heading up river for the Manchester Ship Canal or River Weaver, berthed at Frodsham Quay, or perhaps tucked away in a corner of Liverpool Docks.
