Boudicca at Dublin - August 2013

Fred Olsen Lines' BOUDICCA visited Dublin on August 28/28, 2013 on a Cóbh and Dublin Discovery Cruise operated from Liverpool.  These views were taken on and around the ship in Dublin and during arrival on Wednesday August 28 and departure on Thursday August 29.

Coming alongside in Alexandra Basin.
Ropes ashore at 12:11
Making secure at around 12:15

BOUDICCA was assisted out of Alexandra Basin and to swing in the Liffey by Dublin Port Company tug BEAUFORT, named after the Irish rear admiral who devised the familiar Beaufort Scale of wind measurement used by sea farers.
Ropes were let go at around 17:25, though scheduled departure had been 17:00. However, there was plenty of time for a slow amble across the Irish Sea to Liverpool thus punctuality didn't matter!
BEAUFORT swung BOUDICCA around and once BOUDICCA was facing down the fairway let go her rope at 17:53.
