Dartmouth Princess at Dartmouth Station Pontoon

Photographs  John H. Luxton 2013

DARTMOUTH PRINCESS was built as the DEVON BELLE II in 1990 for K.J. Bridge. It was subsequently sold to G.H. Riddalls & Sons in 1995. She was acquired by the Dart Valley Railway plc on their acquisition of the Riddalls business in 2000. She is mostly employed on the Kingswear to Dartmouth passenger ferry service which operates all year. She is seen below arriving at Dartmouth Station Pontoon on the early afternoon of April 02, 2013 with a good load of passengers.
