Dart Explorer

Photographs  John H. Luxton 2013

DART EXPLORER [150grt / 1991] was originally built as the DEVONAIR BELLE for Dart Pleasure Craft in 1991. In 1999 Dart Pleasure Craft was acquired by the Dart Valley Railway plc and two years later the name of the vessel was changed to DART EXPLORER. She was photographed from PS KINGSWEAR CASTLE on April 02, 2013 near Dartmouth Castle whilst on a harbour cruise

Later in the day whilst operating another harbour cruise DART EXPLORER is seen near Greenway House, just visible in the right hand photograph. This was the home of Agatha Christie, and now in the care of the National Trust.
