QUEEN MARY 2 made her maiden call at Liverpool on October 20, 2009. Weather conditions were less than ideal with strong winds and rain by the afternoon. Until the tide turned and the offshore wind abated tugs were used to hold the ship in position at the Cruise Terminal.
