RFA Sir Percivale Arrives for Recycling on the Mersey

RFA SIR PERCIVALE finally arrived on the Mersey on Wednesday December 16, 2009 under tow from Marchwood (Southampton) by tug BRAVEHEART. The tow to Merseyside had been expected to take place in late October early November, however, it was delayed by persistent periods of unsettled weather..

RFA SIR PERCIVALE departed Marchwood  on Sunday December 13. She will join fleetmate RFA GREY ROVER in Canada Graving Dock where the two vessels will be recycled by Leavesley International.
