Turnstone - Liverpool's Second New Safehaven Pilot Vessel

PV TURNSTONE, delivered in early 2013 is the Port of Liverpool's latest pilot vessel. She is the second pilot vessel to be built by Safehaven Marine of County Cork for the Port of Liverpool, in 2011 her sister vessel SKUA was delivered. Both vessels are Interceptor 48 models and TURNSTONE if the fifth of this class. Safehaven Marine had by early 2013 constructed 25 pilot vessel for ports world wide. TURNSTONE is seen here in action on the Mersey on February 24, 2013 and at the pilot vessel berth at Liverpool Cruise Terminal on Saturday March 02, 2013.
