Joint Warrior 131 Warships Arrive at Liverpool Cruise Terminal

Between 07:00 and 09:00 on April 05, 2013 seven warships arrived the Liverpool Cruise Terminal. One British, two Polish, one Belgian, one German and one Norwegian. The vessels are due to take part in "Joint Warrior 131" - the bi-annual NATO exercise held off the Scottish coast. This is the largest number of ships ever to berth at the Liverpool Cruise terminal and by far the largest number to berth on the Liverpool waterfront since the demise of the old wooden landing stage in the 1970s.
ROYAL NAVY: HMS ECHO [H87] Hydrographic survey ship - commissioned 2003.
Polish Navy: ORP KONTRAADMIRAL XAWERY CZERNICKI [511]  a multitask logistical support ship. Launched 2001
Belgian Naval Service: BNS BELLIS [M916] Tripartite Class Mine Hunter, launched 1986
Polish Navy: ORP CZAJKA [624] project 206FM class minehunter - Built 1966, rebuilt 2000.


German Navy: FGS WEILHEIM [M1059] Frankenthal Mine Hunter built in 1999.

Royal Netherlands Navy: HNLMS URK [M861] Tripartite Class Minehunter
Royal Norwegian Navy: HNoMS HINNØY [M343] , Oksøy Class Mine hunter
