On Thursday May 25, 2006 The Flag Officer Commanding the Naval Service, Commodore Frank Lynch and the Argentinian Ambassador to Ireland, Marcelo Heurgo had taken part in a ceremony to land a statue of the Irish Admiral William Brown founder of the Argentine Navy.
