Photographs © John H. Luxton 2008

After arriving on the Mersey in mid September a period of time passed in which nothing appeared to happen. The ship remaining afloat in Canada Graving Dock. However, by the third week in November she was noted sitting low in the dock and cutting appears to be underway. Her funnels have been removed and can just be seen in the first photograph on the quayside. These photographs were taken on November 22, 2008. Asbestos removal also appears to be in progress.

Leavesley International who are recycling the ship are selling souvenir items removed from the ship on eBay http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Leavesley-International
