HMS Charger Visits Poolbeg Yacht Club

HMS CHARGER was an unusual visitor to the Poolbeg Yacht Club Marina, Dublin on July 05, 2012. Tony Brennan writes that it was believed that the yacht club provided to the only suitable berth for the diminutive Royal Navy vessel in the Port of Dublin. HMS CHARGER is an Archer Class Patrol Vessel built in 1988 which is based at HMS EAGLET the Royal Naval HQ at Brunswick Dock, Liverpool and allocated to the University of Liverpool Royal Navy Unit. She is was due to depart Dublin bound for Wales on July 06, 2012.
