HMS Blazer and Ranger Visit HMS Hindostan at Sand Quay

Situated on the west bank of the River Dart below the Britannia Royal Naval College at Dartmouth is the small naval base of Sand Quay. This is home to HMS HINDOSTAN the former Sandown Class mine hunter HMS CROMER [M103] which was decommissioned in 2002.on Tuesday April 02, 2013 along side HMS HINDOSTAN were berthed P2000 Coastal Training craft HMS BLAZER [P279] and HMS RANGER [P293]. HMS BLAZER is attached to the Royal Naval Unit at the University of Southampton and HMS RANGER is attached to the Royal Naval Unit at the University of Sussex.
