Asgard II Rounds Whitepoint

Coiste an Asgard's ASGARD 2 is seen rounding Whitepoint on the River Lee on Monday May 26 heading for the Cóbh Cruise Terminal.

Visible in the centre picture is the Port of Cork pilot vessel GLEANN MOR The first of Interceptor ‘Pilot 42’ class of pilot vessels to be constructed by the local Cork based Safehaven Marine in 2006.

Visible in the top right photograph is Irish Naval Service Diedre Class LE AOIFE at the Haulbowline bunkering berth. ASGARD II put to sea on Tuesday May 27 bound for Dublin (right) just visible at the Naval Service pier is the Irish Naval service passenger vessel DAVID F.
