Brigantine Lady of Avenel

The brigantine LADY OF AVENEL, named after a character in one of Sir Walter Scott's novels, was originally built in Poland in 1969 as a motor ship. She was later rebuilt as a passenger carrying sailing ship in 1991 and is currently operated by Heritage Sailing. ( She is seen in here inbound for Canning River Entrance as one of the visitors to the 2014 Mersey River Festival on Thursday June 12, 2014.
