Boxing Day on the Mersey

Some movements on the Mersey on a sunny Boxing (St. Stephen's) Day 2013.
Bulk Carrier - ATLANTIC CLOVER (21,192grt / 2011) operated by Kobe Ship Management of Japan arrives and swings for Langton Lock
ATLANTIC COMPASS seen swinging for Gladstone Lock, work on the Liverpool 2 container berth can be seen in progress in the back ground. Note the two yellow coated crew walking below the ro/ro ramp. As ATLANTIC COMPASS entered Gladstone Lock, Peter was able to capture a superb rainbow arching over the Mersey.
C-Bed's accommodation ships WIND PERFECTION and WIND SOLUTION were alongside at Alexandra Dock on December 26, 2013. WIND PERFECTION looked as though she was about to depart though in the end remained in port.
