Spirit of Adventure Calls at Liverpool

Photographs © Ian Collard and Harry Cragall 2008

Saga Shipping's SPIRIT OF ADVENTURE called at West Langton Cruise Terminal on June 07, 2008. She sailed from Langton Lock around 17:00. The ship was built as the BERLIN in 1980 by Howaltswerke Werft at Keil, Germany for a group of German investors which included Peter Dielmann. She was chartered to Blue Funnel Cruises as PRINCESS MAHSURI from 1982 to 1984. She regained her original name and sailed for Peter Deilmann until the end of 2004. She was sold to Saga Shipping in 2005 and delivered in December of that year when she was renamed SPIRIT ADVENTURE though it was originally thought she would become SAGA OPAL
