The waters around the Isle of Man over the weekend
of May 31 / June 01, 2008 were particularly busy as recorded by
Jenny Williamson. |

Jenny writes: "The fishing
boat in front of the Ben is DH (Dartmouth) 71, CRUSADER,
registered in Kingswear - a bit out of it's normal area I
suspect! A number of these photographs were taken from Balmoral,
on which we enjoyed a very good cruise to Calf of Mann."

When STENA CALEDONIA arrived on Sunday morning
she required attention for a rope caught in her bow thrusters
which delayed her return sailing to Heysham. She is seen here on
Sunday June 01 flying both Stena Line and Isle of Man Steam
Packet Co house flags in addition to the 'divers down' flag. The
diving support vessel KESH VARREY was in attendance.

NORMAND TONJER, the rig
support vessel, is registered in Skudeneshaven. She
left for an hour or two, then returned to Douglas! She had been
in for repairs to her computer system. SNAEFELL is already
showing a bit of wear and tear - note the blue paint showing
through on her port bow!I think we "ticked off " everything
except P&O Express - she was too early for us!
