Irish Mist ex RNLB St. Brendan Arrives at Douglas

Douglas Inner Harbour reverberated to the heavy diesels of the former Arun Class Lifeboat IRISH MIST as she arrived on Saturday, April 29, 2006. This vessel is probably better known as the former Rosslare Lifeboat RNLB ST. BRENDAN. She was sold out of service by the RNLI following damaged sustained when she was struck by Stena Line's KONINGIN BEATRIX in a berthing incident in during the summer of 2001. Following repairs she entered service as a corporate hospitality and diving charter vessel with West Coast Charters of Holyhead and Oban. She is is now registered in Holyhead.
