Douglas Visitors

Photographs © John & Jenny WIlliamson 2008

Some interesting visitors were noted in Douglas harbour on Sunday November 09, 2008.

The main tug, in the foreground, is Keverne, registered in Rochester, and owned by J P Knight Group Ltd. The other tug, in the background, is Maggie M, and the pontoon is UR101. They all appear to have been working at the Robin Rig Windfarm, off Maryport, and came to Douglas on November 07 The pontoon dredger appears to be equipped with accommodation blocks. The beam trawler, which has a very fine set of teeth painted on the bow, is Z571, the 1989 built Custos Deus from Zeebrugge. She has been to Douglas before - the local branch of the WSS noted her presence on 20 March 2005.
