These photographs were taken on a visit to the former White Star Line passenger tender NOMADIC on Saturday June 23, 2007. This historic Harland & Wolff built ship is the last surviving White Star ship afloat. NOMADIC is was open to the public, berthed on the River Lagan near the Odyssey Centre in Belfast. The ship retains many of her original features as well as hosting a large exhibition of White Star Line Memorabilia and film props from the movie "Titanic". in addition there is a gift shop and a snack bar on the lower deck. She is in 2012 undergoing restoration in the Hamilton Graving Dock within the Belfast Titanic Quarter. |
