Vice Admiral Kulakov Departs from Liverpool

Photographs  John H. Luxton 2013

The Russian Navy's Udaloy Class destroyer VICE ADMIRAL KULAKOV departing from Liverpool Cruise Terminal on Monday May 27, 2013 around 13:00 in rather damp conditions. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the vessel departed earlier than planned and did not take place in the flotilla departure on Tuesday May 28 as , because the ship arrived later than planned on Friday,  the ship's navigator missed the departure briefing on held on board HMS BULWARK. Attendance at the meeting was considered important for safety reasons. [Click here for pictures taken from Liverpool by Peter Challis].
