Vice Admiral Kulakov at Liverpool Cruise Terminal

Photographs  John H. Luxton 2013

Probably the most impressive looking vessel to take part in the BoA Commemorations was the Russian Navy's Udaloy Class destroyer VICE ADMIRAL KULAKOV berthed at Liverpool Cruise Terminal on Saturday May 25, 2013. She was commissioned in 1982 but retired for repairs in 1991 which lasted 18 years before she returned to service.

The VICE ADMIRAL KULAKOV is a sister vessel to ADMIRAL CHABENENKO which visited Liverpool for the 2003 Battle of the Atlantic Commemorations.
