|Condor Ferries Incat vessels made occasional visits to Merseyside in the 1990s for refit work by Wright and Beyer who were in due course incorporated into the growing Cammell Laird plc. At this time Condor were part of the Australian owned Holyman Group who were a major fast ferry and fast craft operator during the mid to late 1990s. As with other UK fast craft operators opportunity was often sought to charter vessels to southern hemisphere operations during the northern winter months. CONDOR 10 was chartered to Tranz-Rail of New Zealand during the northern winters between 1994 and 1999.|

CONDOR 10 returned to Merseyside in the autumn of 1997 for another refit. She had spent the summer of 1997 year operating on the Holyman Ramsgate to Dunkirk service which closed at the end of the 1997 season CONDOR 10 is seen in Canada Graving Dock, left, during October 1997 and in early November at Canada #3 branch dock (right).
