Mystery Ship - Can You Identify it?

This photograph was originally posted in 2003. Eventually it went into the archives with the mystery unsolved.

Thus it its being featured once again it in the hope that it's identity can be traced.

The photograph on the left was obtained as part of a lot of maritime items.

It appears to show the crew or possibly crew and passengers of a ship sometime I would guess between 1900 and 1918.

However, there is nothing on the back of the print to identify the ship. Close examination of the stern of one of the starboard lifeboats [second photo] reveals port of registry as London.

Can anyone identify the ship?
