Barry writes: We travelled over on the July 27 on the MANANNAN from Liverpool. We arrived in Force 6 conditions and were impressed by how well the MANANNAN handled the conditions. We travelled back to the UK on the BEN-MY-CHREE in very calm weather. The photographs show BEN-MY-CHREE arriving in rough conditions on July 28, SILVER RIVER is seen departing from Ramsey on July 30. The super yacht LE GRAND BLEU is seen anchored in Douglas Bay on August 02. On August 03, we watched from Douglas Head as the MANANNAN approached Douglas in fairly rough conditions. She was on her final approach when she suddenly did a full circle turn - apparently to let the SNAEFELL depart for Dublin. I don't think the MANANNAN's passengers would have appreciated the extra time taken before she reached the shelter of the harbour!
